Music Users Questionnaire
As Music User you need to obtain 2 types of Music rights before you are able to play the music at an event. Dancelife Music – DanceSport Music United is the partner to obtain the “Master-Rights” as we represent about 90% of all DanceSport music produced. The 2nd part is “Composer Rights” which you have to arrange with your local Music Rights Organization. Depending on how your event is made public you will receive an agreement that will cover the “Master-Rights” and determines your fee for the use of these Master Rights.
To Determine what type of agreement you need, to obtain the correct music rights, we ask you to fill out the questionnaire.
Based upon this information, Step 2 is a calculation form. in which the final details need to be filled out (Total amount of tracks used, Term of agreement, Territory, web details etc.). Step 3 After the Calculation, the value of the agreement is known and The Agreement is made. Step 4 an invoice is made, after receiving the payment, the agreement is valid..
